Car Crash

If we go by its literal meaning, the word Car Crash means a fatal accident involving at least one or more vehicles, often leading to a catastrophic result. Research studies on the same have shown that 7 out of 10 road accidents occur due to the carelessness of the driver. However some accidents do occur due to natural calamities where the driver cannot be blamed. Technically, a Car Crash means a situation in which a car gets departed from its original trajectory and enters subsequently enters into a collision with a person,an object or another vehicle. On an estimated basis, such crashes bring an
end to the lives of at least 1 million people per year. Car crashes are subject to legal action depending upon the severity of the particular occasion.

The parties who are supposed to be involved in such crashes do face civil obligation, criminal obligation, and in some rare cases, a combination of these two. All such parties are liable to be prosecuted by the court of law. If the driver of the involved vehicle is found to be intoxicated or if the crash leads to death to any person, then the verdict may vary from life time imprisonment to death in some rare cases.

However, adaptation of preventive measures can be a very important tool in order to avoid as well as prevent such fatal car crashes. In order to reduce the percentage of car crashes resulting due to r problems on the driver's part, there are two available gizmos.

Firstly, we have this equipment called the Sobriety detector which hinders the normal working of the ignition key if it finds alcohol content in the driver's breath.

Another is Drifting Monitor. It is instrumental in monitoring the closeness of a vehicle moving close to the one in which it has been installed. If the second vehicle advances toward it, then the alarm fitted inside it becomes activated instantaneously.

However, several other measures can also be taken in this regard to reduce the frequency of such car crashes. Available road conditions should be improved as much as possible. Moreover, certain driving restrictions should be imposed on young drivers like refraining them from driving during late nights. In some countries, it is mandatory to place a sign on the back of the vehicle to notify other drivers and pedestrians that there is a less experienced driver of the concerned vehicle, who is still in the learner's stage. All these are bound to reduce the frequency of these deadly car crashes.
