New SUV Volvo XC60 To Be Launched on 24th November

Volvo Cars India, the luxury car maker, is planning to launch the compact Sports Utility Vehicle (SUV) Volvo XC60 on 24^th November to power its presence in the domestic market.

With the launch of this new model, the company has forayed into the compact luxury Sports Utility Vehicle segment. On the other hand, the firm has also planned to enlarge its offering in the domestic auto-market.

The company has not disclosed the price range of the SUV. The company said in a statement, “Volvo XC60 owes its unique appeal to the synthesis of strikingly sporty design and a range of intelligent and smart safety systems.”

This new compact luxury SUV, will help company to expand its offerings to the Indian customers. XC60’s technological innovations like laser and camera assisted automatic braking would raise the bar in compact luxury SUV segment.

“We believe in innovating for life and Volvo XC60 bears testimony to our commitment. It is essential to establish the differentiator in one’s offering, the XC60 will not only redefine our technological DNA, but will also form an integral part of our volume expansion strategy for India going forward,” Volvo Auto India Managing Director Paul de Voijs said.

Now Volvo sells two premium models in India- luxury sedan Volvo S80 and luxury SUV Volvo XC90. At the moment the company has dealerships in New Delhi, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Chandigarh, Kochi. And now it is planning to open new dealerships in Pune, Coimbatore and Ahmedabad very soon.
