Rolled out in the Indian market on January 13, 2009, Xylo is an amalgamation of the luxurious features observed in a sedan and abundant space sensed in a utility vehicle. Contributing to the MUV's commanding road presence, Xylo's muscular stance provides stiff competition to other vehicles in class. Sizzling its way into Indian hearts, Xylo puts forward an example of expert engineering with a 2.5-liter, 4-cylinder, turbocharged diesel m-Eagle CRDe engine that generates a power of 112 bhp at 3800 rpm and a torque of 260 Nm at 1800 to 3000 rpm. Crafted with care and suave details, Xylo is a refined fusion of bold and aggressive, masculine yet sleek, contemporary and elegant design. Furthermore, the body colored bumpers, wrap – around taillights and twin colored side rear view mirror highlight the exterior beauty of the car. The interiors too do not lack behind and are adorned with comfort features like power adjustable steering, folding rear seats and height adjustable driver's seat.
