Setting new benchmarks in the MUV segment, Innova was rolled out in the Indian market in March 2005. Emphasizing on design, comfort safety and technology, Innova is a product of Toyota's expert engineering and innovation. Available in three variants – Petrol, diesel and CNG, the MUV has something for all. The petrol variant on one hand is powered by 2.0L, 1998cc, 4 Inline Cylinder petrol engine that delivers a high performance and produces 132 PS of maximum power at 5600 rpm with 181 Nm of maximum torque at 4000rpm. The diesel variant on the other hand is powered by 2.5L, 2494cc, 4 Inline Cylinder, Diesel with Turbocharger engine that produces 102 PS of maximum power at 3600rpm and 200 Nm of maximum torque at 1400 – 3400 rpm. The exterior with an aggressive front adorned with a large 3D grille plus clear lens headlamps and fog lamps that are placed next to the grille, is extremely impressive. The interiors too have a lot to flaunt with dual tone beige interiors, dual tone dashboard with advanced graphic instrument panel, leather covered steering wheel and gear knob and other leather upholstery.
